hmm. Tomorrow's Ojai rain forecast has increased to over an inch. starting as early as 4p, and peaking around 10p with 1/3"/hr rates.
The next system has shifted to not starting until Sunday night, but then at least 4 days of rain, with 3.6" currently forecast.
Waking up to see all of the tornado warnings along California's central coast is not *too* unusual for this type of storm, but the warning that covered all the way inland to San Luis Obispo was certainly notable for what are usually radar indicated twisters that are basically glorified waterspouts. These are certainly stubborn as I see a new warning was issued about 4 minutes ago covering Arroyo Grande.
Just because this isn't seen that often, there's a marginal risk of tornadoes tomorrow in SoCal.
