Went for an easy bike path ride with the kid today along the Simi Arroyo Greenway - been such a long time since we last did this.
We found ducks, geese and a whole lot of other birds and even got to feed some baby geese ๐ฅฐ
There's a group of volunteers who take care of abandoned ducks and geese at a pond we cycled past. They care for a whole flock of Chinese domestic geese (and assorted other birds) that were just left by their previous owners!
Holy moly, yesterday's ride kicked my butt, but man was it worth it! ๐ฅฐ

Today was such a perfect day for a bike ride! ๐ฅฐ
Kinda felt like nature was saying "see, this is what you've been missing". Can't believe it was 6 weeks between my last ride and this one! ๐ฑ๐ญ

Been a long time since I did a metric century but the weather was so perfect, I didn't really want to stop riding. ๐ฅฐ
Now this is more like it!! Mt Pinos/McGill trail never disappoint ๐
Just need to up my stamina again to deal with the elevation better... ๐
