someone asked about my Mockingbirds, they're here, & for once they do not rule the roost, yesterday i actually saw the Warblers "mob" one of them while hapless birb tries to steal warbler butter from the suet feeder...

so they're fine but they're BIg Mad about this shabby excuse for a southern climate

it's 13 degrees (!!!!) & all three rings are going at the bird feeder circus in the snow...

as far as i know, this is record-setting cold as well as a record-setting snowfall of 8 inches, at least while i've lived here in this house (34 years) it's never been anywhere near 13 f'n degrees... pretty sure the previous low was 17...
