I got a new snow shovel this week and I'll get to use it for the first time today. You know you're old when you're excited for a new snow shovel.
It's a metal snow shovel. I try to buy as little plastic as possible, and that was a surprising challenge.
This Snow Joe snow shovel was a lifesaver this morning!
(Well, the real hero was our neighbor who plowed the bulk of our drive for us with his tractor and blade. Thanks Jason!)
It is not a perfect machine by any means but it was a gift from the in-laws and it turned a 1.5 hour job into something like 20 minutes, clearing a good portion of our immediate walkway and exposed deck --- just enough to let the dog out.
It didn't have great reviews. Maybe I got lucky? But I have no great complaints, other than it doesn't have a hood/chute to direct the snow it shovels up. But very good for smaller jobs.
