AndyReally enjoyed my first (if slightly accidental) trip to the #AldeburghFestival at the weekend.
Managed to take in 3 performances - 2 sets of string quartets at #SnapeMaltings, & choral works performed down the road at #Orford Church. In truth I probably wouldn't have selected any of these if I'd had the choice of the whole event, but some happy accidents transpired as a result!
May well return next year, but first up it's inspired me to try & get to a few Proms nights in the nearer future...
Brimwood FarmAlso took a rather lovely trip to #SnapeMaltings yesterday as a friend said there were bearded tits in the reeds.
There were! And 3 kingfishers - both species of which I've never seen before. Some beautiful avocet, snipe, sandpipers too. Highly recommend.
