I’ve had a bit of a hang-up on Smell & Quim the last couple of days, especially this oh so good "Bulls Penis Soup" reissue.

I find it quite refreshing that such a long-running act has managed to create some of its best material so recently.

A lot of excellent, primitive noise in this box (and also volume 1), but since I couldn't be assed to get up and change the CD, I listened to "Mistaken Genital Apparatus" twice. Originally released on Stinky Horse Fuck, so now I want to listen to Smell & Quim, and probably will.

I did some Christmas shopping today. That was of course terrible, but it could have been worse. Now I'm supposed to do some packing for my travel tomorrow, but I need to get the horror of the music in the stores out of my system.

I think I'll skip Handel's Messiah this year – the thing is too damn long – and go straight to Britain's weirdest, Smell & Quim's "The Christmas Album".
