by #SmarterEveryday and I wholeheartedly think that the software "engineering" industry (engineering in quotes, as so much is duck tape anyhow, and less than engineering), makes the same mistake of pushing knowledge of how to create things more and more away.

Destin vom YT Channel #SmarterEveryDay hat ein Produkt designt und sein Ziel war nicht nur, ein hochwertiges Produkt zu machen sondern auch, es vollständig (inklusive Herstellung der Produktionsmaschinerie) lokal ohne ausländische Abhängigkeiten (von China) zu machen.

Die Situation, die er beschreibt ist etwas, das ich selbst schon ein paarmal mit einigen Personen diskutiert habe und die nicht nur auf die Herstellung von Gegenständen beschränkt ist.

Überall in der westlichen Welt wurde dieses Wissen um die Herstellung der "tools that make the tools" ausgelagert und die meisten Menschen sind sich nicht bewusst, das ein unabhängig-machen von China sehr viel mehr erfordert, als nur die Produktionsmaschinen bei uns laufen zu lassen.

Destins Video, auch wenn es eine ¾h dauert, ist mM sehr zu empfehlen um einen Eindruck des Problems zu bekommen.
