This is the first of a few projects where i move work over from my Advent of Type to more official releases.
I kerned all the small-caps, including smallcaps followed by Capitals, so "words" like YellowJacket kern correctly (the best example i could think of that might demonstrate this slightly futile kerning).
On this wet and rainy Day 4 of Advent of Type i bring you the gift of small caps! For my dot matrix font Dorothy Norma.
I haven't read ESMOND by Thackeray, but now you can at least typeset the title properly in small caps, when instructed to do so by Virginia Woolf (sample is a quote from A Room of One’s Own, which i have read).
