I serve in a small parish (ASA ~35) in a large small town (pop. ~4400). We live stream our services and, as you would expect, those numbers are also small.

HOWEVER…..my parish admin came to me this morning and said we had 62 views for yesterday’s Noon service and 30 views for the 6:00 service (IPA was 15 & 8).

I have no idea why it was so high, but it certainly made me smile. So to all those who watched our online #AshWednesday services, thank you, and keep coming back.

My bookshelf recently gave way to a very brittle sandstone wall. It took a while to fix the massive holes it left the wall from breaking out, to paint over them and mount the shelf in a slightly different place. But it's finally done!#smallVictories #theWorkshop

Stuff I got done today
✅ weekly grocery shopping
✅ cook lunch with my kids
✅ trip to the hardware store
✅ frame an old poster and hang it
✅ replace broken slats on children's bed
✅ beat the sky snake thing in Expedition 33
Only a few weeks ago I struggled to get even the absolute minimum done on Saturdays because I was so exhausted from the week every single time. This feels like progress. Hell yeah!

I would appear to have written a more-or-less working memory allocator. (Not so sure about deallocating, but... baby steps and all that  ). This feels like a major win, since I can now use things like strings and Rust's data structure libraries, and I don't have to keep going down to raw pointers for everything.
