#Iwatched #SlumsOfBeverlyHills (1998) which has the excellent #NatashaLyonne in a coming-of-age story about a destitute Jewish family who's apartment hopping to avoid paying rent in the mid 1970s. Her cousin (the equally great Marisa Tomei) with whom she shares a secret language, becomes their ticket to modest middle class prosperity. Instead of a story however Lyonne's and Tomei's bodies are being relentlessly judged and displayed, which severely curbs the fun of the dry Jewish family humour.
