Coinciding with the anniversary of the death of Romantic poet France Prešeren (1800-1849), Culture Day is celebrated both in Slovenia as well as among Slovenians abroad. On this day, I want to share a poem (translation included) by Tone Pavček (1928-2011), another Slovenian poet.
