mad miran All Night Long

Club Raum, Friday, July 3 at 11:00 PM GMT+2

It’s hard to define mad miran’s sound. Unpredictable, deeply personal, and entirely her own, it’s this authenticity that has earned her the respect of heads across the scene and taken her to some of the world’s most celebrated festivals, including Dekmantel, Draaimolen and Waking Life.

One of the most exciting DJs to watch behind the decks, mad miran keeps you on your toes. It’s exactly what makes her such a perfect fit for an all-night-long set.

We’re beyond excited to welcome her to the Studio for the first weekend of July, where she’ll take the reins for a rodeo all night long. As she puts it herself: “Genres are disturbing, I play vibes.”‍

Tickets available in our webstore.

SLPFNK - 15 YEAR AMS TOUR BIRTHDAY WEEKENDER PT2 - BRET

Bret, Sunday, August 30 at 05:00 AM GMT+2

Three stops, one celebration and we're saving the grand finale for last

The final chapter of our 15 Year Anniversary Amsterdam Club Tour lands this August, right in time for our yearly birthday gathering. As many of the SlapFam know, this month is packed with many of the crew’s Be-Earth day celebrations making it the perfect excuse to come together once again.

For this special edition we're going all in. Our one and only Lofi session of the year will take us from daytime deep into the morning, before Bret picks things up for another 24-hour ( at least) journey. A proper birthday weekend Slap-A-Thon from start to finish.

As always we have an all star line up for you to help Slap those last bits of Funk out of the summer months and wrap it up in style.

You already know the drill party people... don't wait too long on those tickets. This one won't stay available for long.

Around Our Table

De Sering, Monday, June 8 at 06:00 PM GMT+2

The workshop focuses on one of the most recognisable symbols of hospitality as its centerpiece - the tablecloth. the evening will be hosted by iulia aionesi and zeo mancini, horeca workers and artists featured in Sleepy Press' latest publication, Hospitality Playbook.
we gather around the table to collectively stitch, mend, embroider and sew what has been taken away from us by ‘stress-resilient’ horeca working experiences.

the tablecloth will be our journal and wishbone. we want to reflect on how working in horeca has rebuilt our perception of hospitality and labour, and to imagine alternative future scenarios through shapes, threads, symbols, and poetry.

the workshop welcomes 14 participants (cultural workers and artists working in horeca). we ask you to bring a meaningful piece of cloth, that can become part of our collective tablecloth.
we will start with dinner at 18:00, at De Sering West.

June 22, 18:00 - 21:00

In the UK, more than 30 activists are currently imprisoned without trial or possibility of bail for taking direct action against weapons exports to Israel.
During this 3-hour workshop you will make your own stamp using linocut and use it to decorate your letter to the imprisoned activists.
All proceeds beyond material costs will be donated.
No prior experience with linocut is required. We will provide all the necessary materials and some inspiration for writing to prisoners.
Hope to see you there :))
