Just checked in on my studio buddy Slimer. Looks like they're doing great! I just gave them a little snack of oats, but I need to learn how to care for them properly. They live in a bucket of decaying paper pulp that I processed from iris leaves from my garden and then forgot about. I'm not sure if I should move them to some fresher pulp?
I'd like to get them into a prettier container but maybe that's just getting too fancy. They seem content here, anyway.

Ok. While this is not dog vomit slime mold I'd say it fits the #DogVomitSlimeMoldSunday theme: I present to you "Slimeordial tree boob blobs slime mold" (alternatively known as Wolf's Milk or Lycogala epidendrum).

Strange mushroom find in the forest: my initial thought was someone poured yellow paint over this white Trametes pubescens fungus.
Unlikely in the middle of nowhere.
I think it is covered with a slimemold (Physarum polycephalum?).
Any thoughts? π€
