We spent some time going to public parks and practicing ignoring our surroundings. It's important for dogs to learn to relax in new environments - they don't need to be hyper-vigilant and react to every little thing around them. They should be able to trust that their human has the situation under control and that they can use this time to chill & recharge their batteries.
