It's so awesome seeing others' experiences as they started to realise more things about themselves

We remember doing a post asking other nonbinary folks whether it was okay for us to use she/they before we realised we weren't a binary trans+ woman lol

We did the same with pretty much everything we realised about ourselves, including things like calling ourselves AuDHD before we got our ADHD diagnosis (we already had an autism one).

Now we're the being telling folks how personal their own experiences are and how valid self-identification is.

Idea for a new hashtag: create one called something like #AliceLore if it's not already in use. We created a #SleepyCattenLore one for random facts about us.

It's really weird to think that we are kinda legally an Essex girl now, but we don't sound like an Essex girl... or even have much of an Essex accent.

Except maybe for saying sauce and source both the same if we're tired.

If this post gets >=50 likes, we will provide an audio example.

Send toot.

Girl-type-entity that will do everything within its power to help and support every being and entity it cares about, risking damaging itself and even permanently burning out its core, but that still considers itself a burden πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Apparently we did dream last night.

Our tracker suggests we were in REM for over an hour out of a total of about 5 and a half hours.

However, we no longer remember our dreams these days.

We went through a period of time where we could remember them vividly. We were even occasionally able to lucid dream.

Those days are long since past.

Perhaps it's for the best.

If you ever think we're smart, we'd like to highlight that today, aged 42, we suddenly realised why the character George in Sharky & George was named that πŸ˜…

For decades, we've been confused why the side character was called George. It felt so random.

We'd like to highlight that:

  • we've known it was a French production for decades;
  • we know how George (and the original Georges) sound in French;
  • we studied French up to GCSE level and got the highest grade at the time.

It has only just occurred to us tonight that George and Georges sound like Jaws πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Kinda crazy looking back on our younger self, especially during A-levels (2000-2002).

Not the fact that they still thought they were a guy. No: we can understand the confusion there.

It's funny though looking back at how they poured time and energy into making an entire 350 card base set for Magic: The Gathering, based on the set conventions at the time, and were planning 2 expansions!!!

They created brand new (at the time) set mechanics and themes, and followed the conventions of reprinting a set number of older cards within the set.

The set was broken and dumb, of course, but it's funny how much time and energy went into coding it for the formatting of a program at the time (Magic Suitcase).

We're honestly still surprised that we've not located any of our old peers from our year group on fedi.

Then again, we do have a different name and gender now, and did go to an all-boys school πŸ˜…

Although, that said, when we updated our old school about it (to stop them sending a newsletter to our parents' address with our deadname on it), they let slip that we weren't the first person who'd done the same 🀭

"For boys", our arse 🀣

We know it's a bit of a trope that all neurospicy trans+ fems of a certain age range play Magic: The Gathering...

... so we just wanted to clarify that we used to play it, but haven't done so since 2002 (Odyssey block).

In fairness, we weren't actually ever any good at it πŸ˜…

We did create our own base set, with its own mechanics, though during our A-Levels.

We wonder how many fedi accounts we start following without realising that they're headmates of other fedi accounts we're already following πŸ€”

For somebody& who can somewhat regularly spot certain types of patterns at least moderately well (mostly in TV/film storylines), we're rather oblivious to humans and human-like beings πŸ˜…

Girl who just learnt that Stephen Colbert's wife's name is spelt Evie (i.e., "Ee-vee"), but seemingly pronounced like "Ev-ee"... and is very confused right now.

Is... is this a common thing in the US or other places???

Asking because it never occurred to us that folks might mistakenly think our first name is pronounced like "Ev-ee" πŸ˜…

Maybe we shoulda gonna with the Eevee spelling after all 🀭 /joke

By the by, do feel free to ask us any questions anonymously on our Revospring account if you don't wanna ask us anything directly 🩷

We will forget to check it often, but occasionally we'll check it and answer stuff.

To be honest though, we're pretty much an open book. Just don't ask for stuff to don't want to know the answer to... or that might give away our secret real world identity πŸ˜…
