Kinda crazy looking back on our younger self, especially during A-levels (2000-2002).
Not the fact that they still thought they were a guy. No: we can understand the confusion there.
It's funny though looking back at how they poured time and energy into making an entire 350 card base set for Magic: The Gathering, based on the set conventions at the time, and were planning 2 expansions!!!
They created brand new (at the time) set mechanics and themes, and followed the conventions of reprinting a set number of older cards within the set.
The set was broken and dumb, of course, but it's funny how much time and energy went into coding it for the formatting of a program at the time (Magic Suitcase).
We're honestly still surprised that we've not located any of our old peers from our year group on fedi.
Then again, we do have a different name and gender now, and did go to an all-boys school đ
Although, that said, when we updated our old school about it (to stop them sending a newsletter to our parents' address with our deadname on it), they let slip that we weren't the first person who'd done the same đ€
"For boys", our arse đ€Ł
