Actualmente convivo con un Debian 13, un Slackware 15 y un Manjaro, en los que de paso alterno entre XFCE, KDE Plasma y sólo terminal.

Eso si, en esta casa no entra el tema claro en ningún lado...

Got sidetracked today when #crux pushed qt6.11.1 everywhere. At least #slackware hasn’t pushed a qt6 update in some time, not sure on the why over there. But some #slackaroni updates will be coming soon!

I read roughly the first half of the linked article, and I hadn't realized that #Slackware had package management. As it turns out, it just doesn't have dependency management.

Slackosundries is turning into my own little repo, with at least the packages that i use myself also. Hence the addition of Librewolf x86_64 in there.

Dependency management is useful.

But package management and dependency resolution are not the same thing.

Slackware intentionally keeps those concerns separated.

I've been using this approach for minimal Slackware VPS/jump systems:

A fresh delivery of slackosundries, my totally random collection of Slackware sw packages.
The latest version of Brave Origin (1.91.149-1) is there for the taking.
Also: a desktop client for Filen encrypted cloud storage is included in slackosundries now. I use that myself. The other packages had no updates.
