Depuis le retour au pouvoir de Trump, les logiciels et systèmes de Palantir, l’entreprise de surveillance co-fondée par Peter Thiel en 2003, se retrouvent à chaque échelon du gouvernement fédéral. Hier, jeudi 31 juillet, Palantir a obtenu un nouveau contrat d'un montant maximum de 10 milliards de dollars sur 10 ans – soit l'un des plus importants jamais octroyés par le département de la Défense. Sa capitalisation boursière est aujourd’hui supérieure à celle des géants de l’industrie comme Boeing, RTX, ou Lockheed Martin.

Where Nightfall was a sudden testing of the waters, this is the face I've waited 20+ years to draw! My absolute main elf of them all, Skywise 💙 (With chief and lifemate, Cutter, how else).
Back when I first fell for Pinis' elves in my youth and went through a phase of keenly studying the comic pages for character references, I remember accepting that I hardly had capabilities worth anything to do much with them, but mused that perhaps some day I would and could (if it were still to feel relevant). Obviously, hasn't been actively on my mind whole of this time, but the idea kept coming and going every now and then, and as I now picked the comics up once again after a while to get over a recent reading slump, the moment finally struck; been so exciting for the past week with the old flame and for the first time feeling things actually possible.
I dare declare these my 'first' Skywise and Cutter (which is also why it was a delight to see how easily they came about; like sketching well familiar subjects... which I suppose they *are*, even if not artistically).
