Cliff’s Notes 2026: Episode Four

Been a couple of weeks since I did my previous Cliff’s Notes, so I figured I’d try and get one out this week. Couple of things to talk about, mostly work wise, so that will be the bulk of this episode.

I finally am able to share, that I have been promoted to Concierge Team Lead @ Skylight Calendar!

This has been in the works for close to a month now and I'm excited to finally be able to talk about it and share it with everyone.

I'm beyond honored and thrilled to help lead our amazing support team into the future, build new processes, refine current processes and bring quality support to each and every Skylight customer!

Ended up starting work about 2 1/2 hours early this morning(voluntarily), due to the CloudFlare outage.

Seems we, Skylight, rely on CloudFlare for most of our stuff, so our app and our physical Calendars weren't working this morning.

Ended up with a few hundred live chats and a few hundred emails.

Things have settled back down as of now. Made or an interesting start to the day to say the least.

Here we already, another week complete. They just seem to be going by so damn quickly. It’s crazy to think that Thanksgiving is just over 3 weeks from now and that Christmas is just over 6 weeks away which means the new year is just about 7 weeks or so from being here.
