It has been a while since I posted a sky photo. I am surprised more folk do not post sky photos. You gotta look up people. Looking down is dismal, downgrading and dark (unless you have a macro lens then disregard this rant). The sky is nice. I was outside tonight and a huge moon greeted me and the silence was overwhelming. I could hear snowmobiles many kms away in the night air. I could see a few stars but alas, there will be flurries tomorrow , but the clouds late this afternoon were very nice. Now I am too tired to do alt text

I've been kind of stepping back from social media lately, not leaving, just backing up a few steps. Here is my submission for #SkySaturday . Nothing too dramatic, just needed to get the camera out and disturb the dust. The sky as seen from my back deck, as most will be. Have a blessed weekend all.

Testing the lacklustre camera in my new/stand-in phone (cheaper optics, ugly post-processing with limited options). Only usable screen of 5 bought & tried.

Something weird for #SkySaturday (because I am weird) There is a small brook that runs between my house and the neighbors to the west. It does dry up if summers are dry but in autumn, winter and especially spring it flows gently mostly. But there is a tiny waterfall that produces bubbles and this one I have captured reflects the sky, trees and even me.

It has been days since I posted anything. Although I am retired I have many hobbies and "chores". This sky image is a week old. You can see the leaves have all departed from the softwood trees and lie still until I rake them up in the late spring. We have no snow yet but have had a few flurries in my part of Canada. I need to retrieve my snowshoes from the shed, because we will get snow. Happy belated Thanksgiving to my American Friends.
