Last week we had tons of amazing discussions on #metadata for #TrainingMaterials #OER during our @NFDI #DiscoRSE #Quadriga #hackathon at @ZBMED

Thanks to all participants!

We worked on crosswalks and mappings including #SchemaOrg #LearningResource @dini @dalia #Bioschemas #AMB #Skills4EOSC

Results will be published in @zenodo_org Keep an eye to our updates on social media if you are interested in the topic.

The final conference of the #Skills4EOSC project, "Building Capacity for Open Science: Skills4EOSC Approaches to Training, Resources, and Networks for a Transparent and Collaborative Future", will take place on June 11, 2025, at Campus Condorcet in Paris.

The #Skills4EOSC project aims to create a coordination network of Competence Centres for Open & FAIR science.

At #OSFAIR2023, we spoke with the coordinator Emma Lazzeri about the project and about #GARR’s #OpenScience initiatives in #Italy 🇮🇹 👉 https://connect.geant.org/2023/11/15/nrens-at-the-open-science-fair-2023-interview-with-emma-lazzeri-garr

Still thinking of professional networks and #Skills4EOSC: I don't think any of the items in the landscape/mapping dataset https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7591902 is listed as a professional association (which some definitely are) in #Wikidata: https://w.wiki/6n73

Also interesting: the C in #Skills4EOSC stands for Commons, not Cloud as usual in #EOSC
I'm intrigued by this "Mapping of professional networks", https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.7591920 from the #Skills4EOSC project.
Authors admit their "systematic desktop research" with Google makes the research not reproducible. Dataset needs cleaning too and is incomplete, probably bad search-engine optimisation.
My conclusion: there are too many networks.
