If you've been following me for a while, you might have seen me banging on about the company Invisible Narratives (run by Adam Goodman, who basically got sacked from Paramount for being shit at his job) buying the rights to Skibidi Toilet (an indie animation passion project) and shitting all over it. Today they rebranded all its social media accounts to remove the original creator's name.

I've spend the last month joyfully re-working my #SkibidiToilet fan-site from the ground up, completely changing the look and layout!

It was formerly just a repository for my fics and little else. I've re-made it to be like visiting an Alliance outpost (TV-themed, of course) and added some more fun stuff. I miss the days when most fan-sites were shrines instead of corporate wikis, so I've made one.

It's a bit early for new years' resolutions but fuck it. Mine is to get weirder about Skibidi Toilet. I want to turn my little website into a proper shrine instead of pretty much just a repository for my fics for when AO3 is down.

I have some ideas for things to add to it and I'm really looking forward to doing that! I'm going to keep exactly what I'm doing under wraps until I've got something worth showcasing, though. I'll need to git gudder at coding and create some artwork.

Even if we never lose Invis (and I do believe DFB will get it back in the end - what Invis is doing might be technically legal but it's so against the spirit of what a partnership is supposed to be), DFB's original episodes will still gain new fans as people discover them, and I want to welcome them to our fandom.

I've made a little site for documenting/collecting links about the ongoing fiasco with Invisible Narratives and their mishandling of Skibidi Toilet. Much of the info about it is floating around on various Discords and Google Drive dumps, and I wanted to have the info all in one place, in more readable forms than Google Docs or PDFs. (Yes, I'm manually converting PDFs to readable web-pages.)

I made a little browser toy!

I thought 'could I overlay a transparent png of Polycephaly (TV-headed character from Skibidi Toilet) over a gif so it looks as though his screen is playing the gif?' The answer was yes.

Then I thought 'Could I randomise the gif every time the page loads?' Yes again.

Then I thought 'Can I make it so that when you click on Polycephaly's screen, it reloads the gif?' Yes again!

- Click Polycephaly's screen to reload the page (which randomises the gif he's playing and the speech bubble).
- Click Polycephaly's tie to go back to my Skibidi Toilet site.
- Click the little TV emoji in the corner to see the sources for the gifs.

It does work on mobile, but looks better on desktop. Polycephaly will scale down to fit a small screen, but the gif he's playing won't.
