Slowly rebuilding lost fitness and mobility. This morning was the first time out on mountaineering skis for 2026. Was blowing hard near the endpoint. Full on spring conditions on the descent.

Skimo looks absolutely brutal. The "pit stop" transitions matter so much they are wild, especially as a motorsports fan.

The Olympics skimo race was much much shorter than I expected. I wanted to watch the athletes ascend a few hundred meters up an entire mountain then ski down.
