Skier, 79, dies after fall at Bend’s Mount Bachelor ski area

Stacey Hutchinson, a spokesperson for Mt. Bachelor, confirmed the fatality. It was the eighth death on the mountain since 2018. Hutchinson said the skier was flown by helicopter to St. Charles Bend, where he died.
