Georgimus Prime@lowqualityfacts Cats with a particular thyroid sickness (cancer?) are treated with radioactive iodine. Cats don't live long enough to be affected seriously by the radiation, but their humans (especially children) have to limit their exposure from the radioactive cats until it wears off.
