The German government has repeatedly violated the rights of activists fighting for Palestine. This includes DiEM25’s founder, Yanis #Varoufakis, academic Salman Abu #Sitta, surgeon and rector of the University of Glasgow, Ghassan Abu #Sittah, and countless others.
Yanis Varoufakis is an #EU citizen, and the pretext that the German government are giving to ban him -'national security'- is not only implausible, but completely indefensible.
