B.C. names Site C dam after late premier John Horgan
The province announced Thursday the dam on the Peace River near Fort St. John is being named the John Horgan Dam and Generating Station.

B.C. Hydro and the District of Hudson's Hope celebrated the opening of a new recreation area this week on the Site C reservoir.
Located just below the town, the D.A. Thomas Recreation Area is named after a steamboat that travelled the waters of the Peace River more than 100 years ago.

Site C dam was constructed and is subject to the same geologic conditions as nearby landslide. Shale. What a terrible idea.

We spent decaaaaaaades not building #Sitec because we don't need it, particularly with skipping 3+ decades of green energy development since the 1990s NDP governments.

The devastation of that region was perfectly unnecessary if we simply stewarded green energy developments as we moved past carbon energy.

And if we weren't being climate change criminals, we still wouldn't need that damn dam.

So yeah, I don't think it's good that we have that hydro source. At all.
