So many comedy movies and sitcom from the #90s through like early 10s have aged really poorly because they are so full of casual racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia (looking at you Friends!) and abundant toxic masculinity. I just can't enjoy a lot of them anymore.

There is earlier comedy movies that work so much better than the modern ones, lately I've even been getting into #comedy teams from the 30s, 40s, and 50s.

The other day I watched the pilot episode of The Drew Carey Show, which I did not really like as a kid despite liking Drew Carey in Whose Line Is It Anyway, and let me tell you that was pretty terrible. The acting is worse than your typical "wait for the applause" #sitcom acting of the 90s, the writing was full of deep sexism and homophobia, Carey's libertarianism crept into certain lines. Just was not at all for me, aged horribly.
