The 2nd day backpacking around Mount Eddy, we headed up to the top of Mount Eddy itself, then wandered the trails south toward Toad Lake before returning north to our camp.

The third and last day backpacking near Seiad on the Pacific Crest Trail had a bit more ridge view, some search for a different short way down, then a long route around passing a pair of waterfalls.

The second day backpacking, there was much ridge views and even a peak to bag (Rattlesnake Mountain) along both the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail and the Boundary National Recreation Trail.

Klamath Basin potato farmer. He remembers when the first carload of potatoes left this valley in 1910. In 1934 he lost thirty-five hundred dollars on forty-eight acres of potatoes.
