I just backed Sinking City 2 on Kickstarter!

It is a 3rd person, lovecraftian action horror game made and published by Frogwares. They're a Ukrainian company still in Ukraine. I am not a huge fan of horror games, but I'll back anything they do.

The first one's controls were a bit iffy with it's shooting, and I don't think it was all intentionally bad like some horror games do. But they've switched to UE5, and added "action" to the description, so I'm hoping its more solid.

Just a word of warning there's both fish people racism and non-fish people racism in it. They say its a part of the setting and the times and would rather comment on it than ignore it. Also, if this one is like Sherlock Holmes: The Awakening, they also had a blurb telling Russia to go fuck themselves. Or something like that.

My Nintendo Year in Review for 2022!

This is less descriptive than PlayStation's, but still interesting.

Splatoon 3 I played heavily during launch. Bug Fables when I was in the waiting room during my dad's surgeries. Sinking City I got when I learned of Frogware's predicament. What the Golf? is just a fun game too.

Not near as much playing as my PS5 or PC, but still fun.

Further on this, I found that the #SinkingCity is on sale on #NintendoSwitch. Given my newly larger SD card, this is serendipitous.

I double checked to see if it is one that #Frogwares would get money from (they had a legal fight with another company, long story short, don't buy the steam version,) and it is them, so I got it.
