37 years ago today, May 27, 1989, The Sanders debuted at #90 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart with “Who Needs You”. It went on to peak at #73 for 2 weeks and spent a total of 5 weeks on the chart.

It’s been my hobby to collect 45 RPM singles over the years. I rescued this one from being thrown away at AM 650 KYAK, the station I used to work for from 1987-1991.
