Legislators concluded a grueling one hundred and five day "long" session in Olympia on Sunday, April 27th, with gavels falling almost simultaneously in the House and Senate, as is tradition.

Last night, #sinedie finally happened in #Indiana.

Personal note. After the endless special sessions on #abortion and #trans athletes last year it feels like there's been no rest or relief. This entire period of my life has been a dark tunnel.

And this year's session was the worst I've ever experienced. Abuse from anti-#lgbtq and pro-life campaigners in the hallways. Cruelty in committee hearings and on the floor.

It's been traumatic and I'm glad it's over.
