L’ex allenatore dell’Inter è poi tornato sul tema Nazionale italiana dopo il fallimento Mondiali, con gli azzurri che non sono riusciti a qualificarsi per la terza edizione consecutiva: “Mi fa un grande dispiacere che l’Italia non sarà ai Mondiali per la terza volta di fila, sono italiano al cento per cento, mio fratello un Mondiale lo ha anche vinto. Sono sicurissimo che il calcio italiano si riprenderà presto“.
Inzaghi ha anche spiegato i motivi del suo addio: “Guadagnare tanto fa piacere, è ovvio (27 milioni netti all’anno), ma a spingermi qui sono state altre considerazioni, non avevo bisogno di denaro, per fortuna – ha proseguito Inzaghi -. Gli anni all’Inter sono stati molto soddisfacenti dal punto di vista professionale ma anche molto stressanti.
