Se activa alerta sísmica en la capital del país por sismo de 6 grados

El sistema de alerta sísmica se activó este lunes en la ciudad de México por un sismo de 6 grados, por lo que, millones de capitalinos se alinearon al protocolo de sismo para los próximo minutos.

Este sistema de alerta está compuesto por 13,900 altavoces colocados en postes de diversas alcaldías, además, el sistema se reproduce en televisoras y radiodifusoras que cuenten con este servicio de alerta.

Durante el año 2020, el Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN) reportó más de 30,000 sismos con magnitudes del 1.2 a 7.4 grados de intensidad.

De manera inédita, el pasado 19 de septiembre se registró un sismo de magnitud 7,7 cuyo epicentro se registró 63 km al sur de Coalcomán, Michoacán; tras realizarse un simulacro a nivel nacional. –sn–
