But, I had a glitch with my monorail in Sim City 4 that was sorted by installing an update, something I had been putting off since last August!
Currently backing up my Sim City 4 files to two different locations at the moment.
Someday I'll have the whole thing, operating system and all inscribed onto one of those silicon plates that last for millions of years. That'll give the Raccoon-People something to think about. Hopefully it will be running on Linux by the time it's inscribed...

Told it to shutdown my Windows 7 installation which isn't loading...shutdown the whole PC instead!
Fuck off VMware Workstation 15 (Later versions are snooty about my CPU), guess I'll have to rebuild the whole thing in VirtualBox, and see how that treats me.
All I want to do is mod lots for Sim City 4, but the program that enables is very old, and Windows 7 is as far as it goes.
Here's what I like to do on a Silent Sunday, find a nice spot in my (Sim)city and just watch the traffic go by.
When I was a child I use to collect Micro Machines, small toy cars, and then drive them around the cityscapes I made with other toys. The vehicles of this game remind of that activity.
Exciting things are afoot in the Sim City 4 modding community.
Some very clever coding people have come to us over these past few years and done wonders for a 20+ year old game.
