This blogger (he/him) finds a lot of the slapstick comediennes of the 19-teens quite relatable. (And I'd like to give a big shoutout to Ben Model aka @undercrank for featuring so many of their films in the #SilentComedyWatchParty, and to Steve Massa for his excellent book "Slapstick Divas").

@DaddyO I didn't know of Joe Cook as well. If you or your children have a taste for surreal silent comefy, try "Musty Suffer" : I watched one on YouTube and #SilentComedyWatchParty streamed several shorts.
Re Laurel and Hardy, I saw "Do Detectives Think?" the Sunday before on abovementioned stream and found it really good. @electronwarier
