Sikorsky S‑39‑C “Spirit of Igor” (c/n 920) — Final S‑39 built and the only complete survivor. Operated by Shell Eastern in the early 1930s, later restored over decades by Frederick W. Patterson III. Its yellow‑and‑black safari scheme highlights Sikorsky’s early amphibian design. Photographed mid‑restoration at AirVenture 2003.
