I went to a coordinated #SignsOfFascism activism thing in a nearby town organized by the local #Indivisible chapter. Just 15 or so people spread out along the road.

Campus free speech advocates say New York Gov. Kathy Hochulâs intervention in the hiring process sets a dangerous precedent for academic freedom. Hochul ordered the removal of the ad because language in the job posting included phrases like âsettler colonialismâ and âgenocide.â Hunter College officials say they are still looking for scholars with expertise in the subject matter. They plan to review the job posting language and repost the job.
