Je weet direct wie je échte vrienden zijn en wie je écht wil bereiken. ~90% van mijn directe contacten gebruikt nu Signal, ~10% sms of mail.

Daarnaast ben je meteen af van die groepen waar je ongewild ingekomen bent en waar iedereen persoonlijke dingen (Gefeliciteerd!) deelt met iedereen. Héérlijk!

I figured out what was up with my signal-desktop app, there was a typo in the archive file, so the keyring wasn't being read. so the archive wasn't being updated. Looks like the typo happened in October so my repo hasn't updated since then. #signal #signal_app

signal-desktop installed via the official apt repository is telling me that it's expired and I should update... apt update doesn't reveal any new versions available. I have 6.35.0 anyone else experiencing this? #signal #signal_app @signalapp

@gorky @mort I didn't known this option. Thank you. But this option will not prevent the app to access to contacts list. In my opinion it is not a problem because I trust #signal_app but I can understand it could be.

@mort Hum... You right, sometimes we are forced to talk with unwanted persons... Hopefully, for my part, I have a very small number of unwanted contacts, so the inconvenience is tolerable.

I consider that #signal_app inform me that a new way to contact a person is available, but I remain free to use or not the app. So I don't consider that the app dictate anything. More I am happy to use #signal_app with more people.
