Best solar panel production day 2024 vs 2025 (neither solstice was clear)
24/12/2024 - 69kWh
24/12/2025 - 78.14kWh
Best single panels:
NE - 2.92kWh
NW - 3.09kWh
SW - 3.25kWh
I'm at -33.73, near Sydney, so you'd expect the northerly panels to do best, but there's early shade NE, & none NW or SW. Winter, OTOH 🤷
It's *waaaay* more than I need...see large exports. Winter, OTOH, probably the same... 🤷
What a great #SolarPower month. I've already generated over 1 mWh, with more sun to come. Will Sept be my 2nd best month ever (beating Feb @ 1.2)?
We'll see!
Ooh! [looks again] Hang on - almost 12mWh in 12mths? 3 weeks left to get there. 🤔 The suspense will kill me! 😂
Installed 10kW near Sydney 10/10/24. 12kW from 8/25. 13 NE panels (was 9). 11 SW (poor in winter). 3 NW. Trina & Jinko 440 panels, #Enphase IQ8 microinverters, #Sigenergy 24kWh battery.
Would love to get this operational!
"All Tesla [and many electric] vehicles are now capable of bidirectional charging (V2X) thanks to an impressive Powerwall competitor, Sigenergy, which can include a universal bidirectional DC charger.
V2X, or bidirectional charging, is becoming a fairly common feature for electric vehicles."
