British Gas are supposedly the standard bearers in the UK. They are not. They are a bunch of shysters who exist purely to rip off customers.

They ruined my holiday chasing me for a debt of £60 even though it was their mistake that caused that debt. I had to pay it now and appeal or bailiffs would be sent. I didn’t. And won compensation.

I was 35 at the time but imagine that tactic on someone more vulnerable.

I’ll state this for the record: I hate British Gas. They are a dodgy company who I’ve had multiple run ins with over the years and every single time it was their fault, or something that could be blamed on something they did.
