أطلق برنامج Shotcut تحديثه الجديد إصدار 26.6، والذي يعيد ميزة استخدام شاشة العرض الخارجية كشاشة مراقبة مخصصة للفيديو بعد غياب دام ثلاث سنوات. كما يدعم التحديث معاينة فيديو النطاق الديناميكي العالي HDR في نافذة منفصلة، ويقدم دعماً محدوداً للملحقات الخارجية مثل تأثيرات الصور OpenFX وفلاتر الصوت VST2 وLV2. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تم دمج فلتر الصوت RNNoise، ودعم رسوم Lottie المتحركة، وترقية المكتبات الأساسية لتحسين الاستقرار والأداء العام للبرنامج.
