A ★★★½ review of The Undercover Man (1949)

I've seen about 10 films with Glenn Ford and at least half of them have been film noirs. I REALLY like the man. But... I will never see him as a hardboiled film noir male lead, no matter how much he frowns. Sure, I think I could take Humphrey Bogart in a fight so it is not about being menacing or anything, I just look at Glenn Ford and think; "I could talk him out of a fight". And that is a difference. Ford is GOOD in the part though so this is just me doing an unnecessary "what if..?".

The Waiter - an exercise in shooting from the hip while following our waiter to our table on the porch at the Dimmick Inn. Always fun and unpredictable. Processed as a B&W. :)
