I'm having a hard time learning *today* that almost everyone since has got the melody for "running just as fast as we can" wrong, and that "There doesn't seem to be any one around." has a different rhythm in the final chorus that none of the covers ever picked up on.

Checking:

#GirlsAloud gives proper songwriter credit to Ritchie Cordell but doesn't mention either #TommyJames or the #Shondelles.

Tiffany's re-recording does not credit anyone else at all, Tiffany's first cover doesn't mention James or the Shondelles either.

And #AndreeaMunteanu got copyright claimed on YouTube by Tiffany! That's a bit rich.

It took #IndianaMassara pointedly making a pinned comment to put me on to TJ&TS.
