Why Shogun Warriors?
I had a Poseidon toy as a kid. I don't know where I got it from. Either a yard sale, or a hand-me-down from an elder cousin. I only learned in the last couple years what series he was from. And last week, I stumbled across a copy of Shogun Warriors #8 at an antique store on the way back from Charlottetown. #shogunWarriors

I've had in the back of my mind that I preordered an action figure, but I couldn't remember what it was. Luckily I posted to FB about it.

I preordered Super7's Godzilla Ultimates Shogun Godzilla 8-Inch Action Figure for $55 coming Nov 2023. I still have plenty of time to cancel.

@EvaUnit02 have you ever heard of #Mazinga (aka #MazingerZ) and/or the #ShogunWarriors from way, WAY back? I don’t know if they introduced the style of #animation (not #anime itself) to the US.

I don’t remember much about the story but Mazinga was my favorite

@brentac Too bad Marvel screwed up their licensing of 勇者ライディーン「yūsha raidīn」（aka Brave Raideen), 超電磁ロボ コン・バトラーVブイ「 chōdenji robo konbatorā bui」(aka Super Electromagnetic Robot Combattler V) and 惑星ロボ ダンガードAエース「wakusei robo dangādo ēsu」(aka Planetary Robot Danguard Ace ) otherwise known in the bowdlerized form of Shogun Warriors, thus eradicating any chance that they will ever produce anything theatrically that I will care about even slightly.
