@ottaross may I present the late #ShivaTheMeerkat aka #ShivaTheCat ? 😅
(#ImageDescription: a cat standing upright on her hind legs in front of a window, with her front paws pulled up against her body as if she were a Meerkat. Flowers and a lava lamp can be seen on either side of her.)
@woozle aww... sorry to hear that. I still miss #ShivaTheCat too, and part of me would like the company of another cat, but on the other hand I also don't want the added responsibility.
But did the thing go missing before or after their passing? 😅
Shiva the cat getting annoyed with me because he couldn't fit into the box.
Shiva passed away in 2018. Still miss him. 😻
@welshpixie
yeah, I agree with you there. Certificate is new to me, and feels just wrong... I'd rather put up a nice photo of them in their prime... It's hard enough to come across pictures from our late cat during her last days.
When we had to get #ShivaTheCat euthanised we just left her at the vet's to be cremated together with other pets... at that point it was just an empty shell, and carrying her body home walking through the city, or in a taxi? I don't think that would've been positive for anyone. Sadly it was also not like we really had a garden we could bury her in anyway.
May ZugZug live on in your memories and play with the spectral birds in your garden. 💚
@vicorva something like this? ;)
(Image content warning: direct eye contact of a cat looking straight at the camera)
@brainblasted a #dailyPhoto of #ShivaTheCat looking into the camera while holding her toy mouse. Sadly it's from my #PhotoArchives as she's no longer with us.
