I beat #ShinMegamiTenseiIV!!!!

Coincidentally, it took me almost exactly 4 years.

I played the first half of the game via emulation and the second on original hardware. (The animations when defeating enemies are awesome and can only be seen on an actual #3DS.)

Decided to go the chaos route, which I also did in SMT5. Went the way of law in Strange Journey Redux. Still working on SMT3. I've barely played the older games but already got them installed on my brand new retro gaming handheld!

Trying to finish #ShinMegamiTenseiIV before my #RG40XXH gets here.

I just had a very enjoyable play session of #ShinMegamiTenseiIV. I gotta be somewhat close to the end of it at this point.

Atlus should totally be working on a remake of this game. With SMT5 coming to all modern platforms this June, it makes a lot of sense to release an #SMT4 remake not too long after.

Only listened to the first disc so far but fuck me, it's incredible

Much like getting used to Mastodon's quirks, I recently got into better understanding hacking my 3DS so I can dump all of my purchased games for emulation and backup purposes.

I mainly purchased another 3DS to buy all of the #ShinMegamiTensei #Megaten games exclusive to the handheld but I'm slowly rebuilding my library. I'm mostly into RPGs for both DS and 3DS so any recommendations are welcome!
