As I was waiting to board the ferry at the #Vancouver waterfront, I watched a #superyacht being backed in to the floating #Chevron fueling station.

It triggered a memory of pulling into #gas dock in #Shilshole, where a 24' motorboat was taking on 1360 l / 360 gal through a normal hose; it would take over an hour.

The gas dock in Vancouver Harbour fuels commercial tugboats, has 4" fuel hoses.

The #yacht was still filling an hour later when we left.
