KDE framework 6.13.0 released last week for Haiku, already a few gear25 packages have been updated.

Main "new" project here was to see if I could get PySide6 build and functional, looks good so far. 👍
PySide/Shiboken not released to the public yet, needs more testing.

I've just removed #PySide2 from my #Gentoo test environment and I'm unlikely to test any packages relying on it, going forward. This shit is just too broken.

If it wasn't bad enough that upstream is quick to throw away "old" versions (that a lot of projects still use) and they rot incompatible with new #Python versions. #Shiboken is a horribly intrusive package that can break completely irrelevant stuff (like #Flask). On top of that, it now causes crashes the test suite of #matplotlib.

Of course, I don't really understand why anyone would want to use #Qt in the first place — but if you really have to, please consider using #PyQt instead. These packages are far less problematic.

Właśnie wywaliłem #PySide2 z mojego środowiska testowego w #Gentoo. Tym samym, mało prawdopodobne jest, żebym w przyszłości testował cokolwiek od tego zależne. Ten szajs jest po prostu zbyt problematyczny.

Tak jakby nie wystarczyło, że autorzy szybko odcinają się od wsparcia "starych" wersji (których wiele projektów wciąż używa) i zostawiania ich, by gniły bez wsparcia dla nowych wersji Pythona. #Shiboken jest strasznie inwazyjną paczką i psuje inne oprogramowani (np. Flaska). Na dodatek, dziś odkryłem, że powoduje, że testy matplotliba się sypią.

Oczywiście, ja nie wiem, dlaczego ktokolwiek w ogóle chce używać #Qt — ale jak już musicie, proszę wybierzcie #PyQt. Te paczki są znacznie mniej problematyczne.
