Morning Sheep Time
Sheep all enjoying their new bald state today, particularly in terms of the superb skritches they can now receive directly to the surface of the sheep. Panda in particular wanted large amounts of such attention, and leaned on me heavily to ask for more. He's quite dense so you know it when he leans on you.

Released the unfluffy crew out into the field and put biscuits in. Normality more or less restored now. Just waiting for a non-rainy day now to blob them with Clik, that'll likely be tomorrow.

First post-shearing day. Now everyone has calmed down a bit. Good job we got it done when we did as the weather is wet once again. Buster mostly recovered now, at least he is eating biscuits again!
Shearing day 2026
The boys freshly sheared. Being restrained and manhandled evidently gets their blood up a bit, as they are especially clonky right after. Hopefully they will chill out and appreciate the lack of heavy winter coats for the rest of the summer!
