We have a not-new barn in our back yard, 30'x30'. It's the kind made of 16 sheet metal ribs of 4 sections each. All bolted together. It's corrugated in the sense that it has 16 major valleys and ridges.

To cut the solar heat gain, I'd like to put a shade sail on top of it. Where contact is made, half-tubes of ethafoam between sail and metal. Tension by a dozen tie-downs along each side.

It seems cheaper than painting it, am I bananas?

A rustic relic of the land weathered by time and reclaimed by nature.

After several months, I still think that "Everybody" is a top-notch song. An EDM anthem of the 21st century. It just feels like you're at a rave or a electronic music festival.

The vaporous pads that soar over 'Password (Techno Mix)' certainly come charged with a bittersweet sentiment. Meanwhile the rhythmic locomotion comes on like the rumble of the first train back after leaving the club. The insistent bell loop up top rings out like the hook of the last track that rang out over the soundsystem. It's a sensation familiar to anyone who has spent their last drop of energy at the altar of dance, where exhaustion meets with satisfaction and disorientation as you recalibrate back into the real world.

This approach — dreamlike atmospherics and rugged propulsion — takes on many guises across Rave Echoes."
